Kenmore Air vs. Federal Way Pharos

Clash of Titans was the headline of this week’s highly anticipated match between the Kenmore Air and the Federal Way Pharos. Both teams not only boast the honor of being founding members of the PDL, but they also share the responsibility of co-commissioners of the league. With so much history and prestige on the line, spectators were eager to see which team would come out on top in this pivotal showdown. 

Known for their strategic prowess, the Pharos were once again on display, crafting a team that was a step ahead of the competition. However, despite their brilliance, the match was far from a cakewalk. The Pharos ultimately secured the victory, but it wasn’t without a fight. After claiming the first two games, it looked as though a clean sweep was on the cards, but the Kenmore Air refused to back down, bouncing back to win two games of their own. 

The standout performance of the match came from the powerful duo of Changthangi (Dragapult) and Swiss (Riolu). Changthangi’s raw physical damage output, combined with the strategic coaching of Swiss, made them an unstoppable force, giving the Air a run for their money. 

While both the Kenmore Air and the Pharos have had better seasons, we know from last year that in the PDL, anything can happen. The battle for the trophy is still wide open. Looking ahead, the Kenmore Air will face another founding member next week—the Ballard Bulbasaur—in a match that could prove crucial for both teams’ playoff hopes.
